State and Employer Verification Requests
Request a formal primary source verification letter to be sent to a state licensure board, employer, or other verification entity. Verification requests are submitted through the BRPT Self Service Portal Store and processed directly by BRPT.
What to Know
- Verification requests require a $25 processing fee
- Requests are typically processed within 1–5 business days
- Verification letters are sent directly to the requested entity and cannot be sent to you/the credential holder
If you have a recertification application pending staff review, wait until your application has been fully processed and your credential has been renewed before requesting an updated verification letter.
Faster Option for Employers
Employers and licensing boards can also verify credential status using the Primary Source Credential Holder Directory at no cost.
