Review testing procedures, check-in requirements, exam rules, and what to bring on test day. Additional testing center policies and appointment details are provided by Pearson VUE when you schedule your exam.
- Bring two forms of identification. The first and last name on both IDs must match exactly the first and last name used in your application and shown on your approval. If you need help updating the name on your approval, contact info@brpt.org at least 24 hours before your scheduled exam.
- Before the exam begins, you must read and agree to a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that appears on the computer screen. You have 3 minutes to read and accept the NDA, or the testing session is terminated immediately.
- Avoid no-show status and the associated fee: arrive on time for your scheduled appointment, present the required two forms of ID at check-in, and accept the NDA within the allotted 3-minute window.
- Know what is — and is not — permitted in the exam room, and familiarize yourself with what constitutes a testing violation.
- Pay attention to hazardous weather and emergency closure conditions in your area. Call Pearson VUE at the 24-hour contact number provided in your exam confirmation notice to find out whether a test center is closed due to extenuating circumstances on the day of your scheduled test.
All of these important day-of-exam instructions are outlined in detail in our Exam Candidate Handbooks.
